Originally, the word “Babylon” means language confusion. It refers to a Biblical legend about a great city inhabited by all the people of the world - the first city built after the Great Flood. Its inhabitants wanted to build an extremely tall tower, reaching for the skies, as a symbol of their power. For its vanity, the community was punished and destroyed, as each started to speak a different language. Lost in a sea of obscure words, breaking apart from each other, the Babylonians thus spread across the whole Earth.

And since things are pretty much the same now, our stated goal is to facilitate communication among people through translation and interpretation, as well as other services.
