Simultaneous Interpretation
The simultaneous translation is a method used in international meetings, where a significant volume of information is exchanged in a limited time.
The interpreters, two per each target language, are placed inside the translation booth, which is oriented towards the room so that they see the speakers and the visual cues. The visual contact with the speakers is essential, facilitating a better understanding of the speech.
Using the simultaneous translation method, each interpreter translates for a limited period of time and followed by a team member, thus assuring continuity of service.
Two interpreters per target language will always be used for simultaneous interpretation services, no matter the time period. During the time an interpreter translates, the team member listens to the speech for numbers and terminology, helping the active translator in the accurate transmission of information.
Depending on the rhythm and flow of information, the interpreters switch at longer or shorter intervals, assuring the coherence and quality of the simultaneous translation service.
Moreover, in case of emergencies, the team member can take over and continue the translation until the situation is solved.
Due the nature of the service, it is imperative that the organizers provide adequate supplies of water, sparkling and spring.
ATTENTION:
The reservation of the simultaneous interpretation team DOES NOT include NOR reserves the simultaneous translation and sound equipment.
The simultaneous translation system can be rented with or without the sound system, with or without the interpretation team.
